Introduction: River Tern Lodge is located on a hillock, at the edge of the picturesque Bhadra River, near Lakkavalli, adjoining the northern boundaries of the Bhadra Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary. River Tern Lodge is a perfect blend of nature and wildlife amidst the Western Ghats in Chikmanglur district in Karnataka.

Description: The jungle lodge offers comfortable accommodation in its 10 twin bedded rooms of which there are five cottages and five log cabins. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the Bhadra Reservoir for spectacular views.

Facilities: Guests of the lodge can enjoy their meals at the Gol Ghar, which is a circular, open-to-sides gazebo where South and North Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes are served.Other facilities available at River Tern Lodge include wildlife documentary screenings and water activities like kayaking, fishing and sailing.
