Shipboard accommodation, all meals onboard ship, 24 - hrs complimentary room service on board ship, access to shipboard activities, and entertainment on board the ship.

Air Fare, Visa charges, Gratuities, shore excursions/land tours, Alcohol, aerated drinks, laundry, telephone calls, and expenses of a personal nature.

For Suites it is USD 12 per person per day and USD 11.5 per person per day for other staterooms, and will be charged on the ship. If the service on the ship exceeds or fails to meet your expectations, you are free to adjust this amount at the end of the cruise. This charge is paid entirely to Holland America Line crew members and represents an important part of their compensation.

Holland America Line reserves the right to re-instate a fuel supplement for all guests at up to US$9 per person per day if the price of light sweet crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) exceeds US$70 per barrel.

Holland America Line's Cancellation Protection plans are designed to protect your vacation investment from loss-no matter what. The Standard Plan allows you to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours prior to departure and still receive money back.

Our Standard Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP Standard Plan) will allow you, for any reason, to provide written cancellation up to 24 hours prior to scheduled cruise or cruisetour departure and receive a refund equal to 80% of the eligible amounts paid. In addition, Holland America Line automatically assumes an additional US$500 of liability for lost, damaged or delayed baggage of passengers who purchase the CPP Standard Plan still subject, however, to the limitations in our baggage policies. For example, we do not cover losses while baggage is in the custody of airlines. The CPP Standard Plan is not insurance; it provides no rights other than those explained above. For example, it does not protect double-triple-quad occupancy rates should one or more members of your party cancel, nor does it cover expenses or unused services due to trip interruption.

CPP Standard Restrictions

1. CPP Standard only applies to cruises, cruise tours, air and hotels booked through Holland America Line.

2. All monetary amounts are in U.S. dollars.

3. CPP Standard must be purchased prior to the date on which cancellation fees begin to accrue. Payment is due at the time of purchase.

4. CPP Standard Plan Cost is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The ship charges an amount towards shipboard onboard account, which is USD 60 per person per day, and is like a security deposit. Any expenses on the ship would be adjusted against this deposit and balance returned back at the end of the sailing. This amount can be paid by cash or credit card
