Day 1: Cairo - Luxor & Nile Cruise
After arrive Cairo at 12:25 PM At the airport you will transferred to catch your flight to Luxor on MS359 @16:40 PM. (Flight time can changed based on Egypt Air Schedule). A lunch box will be provided at the airport while waiting for the domestic flight to Luxor. Arrive Luxor @17:50 PM and transfer to check in on the Nile Cruise (5 stars deluxe) and enjoy a special dinner (vegetarian and a variety of Indian and International food will be available). An Optional to do the Sound and light show in Luxor.
Day 2: Luxor - Nile Cruise
Early start (6.00 AM) to cross to the west bank. As you enter the Valleys of the Kings and you will pass Deir El Madina, Madinet Habou and the Colossi of Memnon. Visit the colonnaded temple that was uniquely dedicated to a Queen Hatshepsut. Then start your tour to the East bank, enter the Karnak Temple Complex, a vast area of temples, chapels, pylons and the Great Temple of Amun. Walk down the avenue of ram headed sphinxes that connect the Precinct of Mut, the Precinct of Amun-Re and the Luxor Temple. During lunch you will cruise towards the ancient cities of Esna and Edfu. Disembark in Edfu to visit the remarkably well preserved Temple of Horus. Overnight on your Cruise Boat.
Day 3: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan
Cruise onward, stop at Kom Ombo and explore its double Temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. You will arrive in Aswan late in the evening. Overnight on your Cruise Boat.
Day 4: Aswan
This morning, take a short ferry across the Nile to Agilika Islands Philae Temple, a beautiful dedication to the goddess Isis. After lunch, marvel at Aswans dams - the Old and the High. You will sail to tusk shaped Elephantine Island and gloriously botanical Kitchener Island. This evening theres time to explore Aswans renowned markets. Overnight on your Cruise Boat
Day 5: Aswan - Cairo
An Optional tour to visit the great temple of Abu Simbel and disembark from the cruise after breakfast. (A Lunch box will be provided from the cruise boat) and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo on MS396@ 13:55 PM. Arrive Cairo @ 15:20 and transfer to your hotel and overnight. Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids Early or late evening performance of this spectacular sound and laser light show is a must to see while in Cairo. The voice of the great Sphinx tells you the story of Pharaohs and their life's story and how the great pyramids were built. (The show is in many different languages)
Day 6: Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit the Great Pyramid at Giza. It was the tallest man made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Our expert guide will accompany you to the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, and then you will stand in communion with the magnificent treasures of the Egyptian Museum. - including Tutankhamuns fabulously famous Gold Mask, lunch during the tour. Transfer back to your hotel and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7:
Breakfast at the hotel, free day. An Optional tour to visit Alexandria, this Mediterranean City, founded by Alexander the Great, and has many unique attractions. Spend the day viewing the relics of a bygone age these are a highlight of Alexandria. Visiting such sites as Pompeii's Pillar, the only Amphitheatre built by the Romans in Egypt, and Catacomb and more. Transfer to the airport for your departure fligh. |
