Kausani is a hill station situated in the Bageshwar district of the Uttarakhand state of India. It is located 53 km North of Almora.     Baij Nath Temple Kausani:

                   Himalayas play a great part not only in Hindu mythology, but also in the Hindu Religion. Visiting Baij Nath Temple, Kausani located amidst the mountain ranges with the splendid sceneries around, can be an enchanting experience.     Shopping:
    In the small town of Kausani ,you will not find any good shopping centres and big shops. The market place is small and it meets needs of local people.

    Woollens is what one can purchase mainly from here,particularly garments made from Angora Rabbit wool.

    These are extremely fine and refined wool. Garments made from these wool are very soft and warm to wear.

    Pant Museum:
     
               A little away from the Kaushani bus stand is a museum named after the Hindi poet Sumitranandan Pant. The house which has the museum is the poet's house of his childhood days. His daily use articles, drafts of his poems, letters, his awards etc. are displayed here.
