The forest surrounding Ken river lodge is dry and decidious, and is populated by Teak, Flame of the forest, Tendu, Indian Ebony and Mahua. This scenic countryside is home to numerous species of birds such as the spur fowl, Treepie, Paradise fly catcher, Babblers and Parakeet.
