 Rampur (Himachal Pradesh)

Rampur  is a city and a municipal board located in the Rampur District in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.  According to Government of India, the district Rampur is one of the Minority Concentrated District in India. It also gave its name to a former princely state of British India, once ruled by a Muslim Nawab from the Afghan Rohilla tribe. It was incorporated into the state of Uttar Pradesh in 1949. The region around Rampur and Bareilly still has a substantial population of Pashtuns.
