Introduction: Sunderban Tiger Camp is located in Sunderaban with beautiful view of amidst the lush green scenery. This tiger camp is just opposite Sajnekhali tiger reserve forest.
Description: Sunderbans national park is the largest mangrove forest in the world. The name Sunderbans meaning 'the forest of sundari' (Heritiera fomes).
The Sundarbans forest inhabits more than 400 tigers. Fishing Cats, Macaques, Wild Boar, Common Grey Mongoose, Fox, Jungle Cat, Flying Fox, Pangolin, Chitals, pen Billed Storks, White Ibis, Water Hens, Coots, Pheasant Tailed Jacanas, Pariah Kites, Brahminy Kites, Marsh Harriers, Swamp Partridges, Red Jungle Fowls, Spotted Doves, Common Mynahs, Jungle Crows, Jungle Babblers etc.....
Facilities: Sunderban Tiger Camp has 4executive cottage, 11cottages(4 A.C. provision and 7 Non A.C. provision), 4 huts, 4 tents. They also offering Angling (fishing inside our camp). Sunderban Tiger Camp providing other facilities such as pool table, library, tiger shop, landline and natural bird watching within the camp. This tiger camp offering sweet water, which is saline atmosphere of Sunderbans. It has A. C. conference hall with LCD projector, projection screen, an accommodate 60 persons.
