In fact some of these cottages are on stilts in the water. Each cottage is accessible by boat or by foot over cobbled pathways and rustic bridges. The cottages themselves have air conditioned interiors with all modern amenities for a comfortable stay.
Golden Waters also arranges regular cultural programmes of dances like Kathakali, Mohiniattam, Barathnatyam and the ancient martial arts form, Kalaripayattu. All are performed by accomplished artists.The Retreat is also known for its Ayurvedic centre, Vaidyasala, which provides rejuvenation massages.
