The Tata Tea Museum houses photographs and machinery, each depicting a turning point that contributed to the flourishing tea industry that is evident today. Some of the items on display include the original tea roller, the 'Rotorvane,' dating back to 1905; the 'Pelton Wheel' used in the power generation plant that existed in the 1920s; as well as furniture, typewriters, a wooden bathtub, iron oven, manual calculators and EPABX of the 1909 telephone system.
