Introduction:  The lodge is located at a vantage point on a wooded hillock with a commanding view of snow-capped mountains, thick pine and cedar forests and the sweep of the Ranikhet golf course. It is located in Kalika Estate, in the village of Dadgallia, on the outskirts of the Ranikhet cantonment town, just high and removed enough to seem remote and yet within easy reach of all the hill station's amenities and activities.

Description:  The Windsor Lodge today comprises three restored buildings which seamlessly mingle in the backdrop of snowcapped peaks and thick forest of pine and cedar. Perched on a hillock, it commands a 360 degree view, and overlooks the nine hole of Ranikhet Golf Course on one side and has a stunning view of the Himalayan peaks, such as Nanda Devi, Trishul, Panch Chhuli 

Facilities: The spacious and luxurious suites and rooms in the three restored buildings of this lodge retain all the charm, solidity and dignity of a more gracious era, further recalled and reinforced with the décor of period furniture. As it was renovated from a state of ruins, while it retains its original features, modern amenities and creature comforts were also fully integrated into the whole.
